Purchased on behalf of Circle C Stables as a yearling, this beautiful daughter of Elusive Quality made an immediate return on her investment winning a MSW at Gulfstream Park in her first start, besting none other than subsequent G1 winner Sugar Shake. That would not be the end of this filly’s brush with stakes quality, as she continued to perform at the highest levels throughout her career. Her pinnacle performance came in the G1 Princess Rooney Handicap at Calder gaining a third place showing by one length. Retired from racing in 2007, G City Gal can now be found at Bluewater Farm embarking on her next career as a broodmare, she is currently booked to Bernardini for the 2008 season.
