  • From the first crop of exciting freshman Catalina Cruiser, Hip 38 is out of a winning daughter of champion She Be Wild. That mare is the dam of three winners from four runners with multiple horses out of her daughters winning in 2022, both in the United States and Japan. She Be Striking’s first foal is a 2-year-old named High Everest, who recently sold in England at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale. This filly is bred on a similar cross to seven stakes winners, led by Grade 1 winner Union Strike and three other graded stakes winners by Catalina Cruiser’s sire Union Rags and out of Smart Strike mares.

The earner of nearly $145,000, Ricochet has finished in the top three in nine of his career starts and has wins on both dirt and turf to his name.

A horse ready to run right out of the ring, he won on April 24 by 1 ¾ lengths on turf over six furlongs after breaking his maiden going six furlongs on the dirt last year. He is out of a half-sister to the multiple stakes winner Captain Serious and from the family of multiple G1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Mizdirection.
