Clothes Fall Off, who sold for $70,000 in the Bluewater Sales consignment in the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, turned heads for all the right reasons when she scored a confident 1-1/2 length win in the $125,000 Correction Stakes.
The daughter of Daaher struck the side of the gate as the field broke, but quickly regrouped and assumed a stalking position in the 6 furlong race, before taking command rounding the turn and pulling away in the stretch.
Clothes Fall Off was coming off of a second place effort in the $300,000 Barbara Fritchie Stakes-G2 at Laurel Park last month.
Bred by Dean Hayes & Shadwell Farm, LLC, Clothes Fall Off is out of the Dayjur mare Tequilas Dayjur, a stakes winner and Grade 3 stakes-placed winner of $219,537.
