    An offering like champion juvenile Vequist doesn’t come along every day. From the first crop of outstanding young sire Nyquist, the filly out of Grade 2-placed Vero Amore was an impressive juvenile who won the G1 Spinaway Stakes by a brilliant 9 ½ lengths in her second start.  After a second in the G1 Frizette, Vequist headed to Keeneland with championship honors on the line and more than wrapped them up. Just like her sire and grandsire before her, she took home the Breeders’ Cup blanket of flowers with an easy two length win in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies to earn Champion 2-Year-Old Filly honors.
