Lexington, KY—March 29, 2013—Results are in for the 2013 Board of Directors of the Consignors and Commercial Breeders Association (CBA).
Jody Huckabay of Elm Tree Farm has been elected to the open seat in the “Consignors other than the Top 20” category and Wayne Sweezey has been elected to the open seat in the “Breeders” category.
Andrew Cary of Select Sales, Callan Strouss of Lane’s End, Meg Levy of Bluewater Sales and Guinness McFadden of Three Chimneys have all been appointed to the open seats in the “Top 20 Consignors” category.
The new board members will join Craig Bandoroff of Denali Stud; Pat Costello of Paramount Sales, Jamie Hill; Neil Howard of Gainesway Farm, Marc McLean of Crestwood Farm; Frank Mitchell, Martha Jane Mulholland of Mulholland Springs, Joe Seitz of Brookdale Sales, Kitty Taylor of Warrendale Sales and Mark Taylor of Taylor Made Sales.
The CBA is a trade organization with more than 300 members. The association’s membership accounts for over 80% of the annual auction revenue in North America, as either breeder or consignor. The CBA works democratically on behalf of every consignor and commercial breeder, large and small, to provide representation and a constructive, unified voice related to sales issues, policies and procedures. The Association’s initiatives are designed to encourage a fair and expanding marketplace for all who breed, buy or sell thoroughbreds.
