Bluewater Sales had the penultimate offering during the first session of the Aug. 4-5 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearlings sale, but the wait was worth every minute when the gray daughter of Tapit brought a session-topping winning bid of $1.15 million.
Hip No. 81, the second-to-last juvenile through the ring, wound up the session topper with the winning bid coming from Jason Litt and Alex Solis. Bred in Kentucky by Mike & Nancy Mazzoni, the filly is the second foal out of 2009 2-year-old champion filly and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner She Be Wild, who the Mazzoni's also raised. She Be Wild's first foal is also by Tapit, a 2-year-old filly who has yet to race.
