Bluewater Clients Win Big at Belmont
Tuesday, June 9, 2015

At Belmont this weekend, before American Pharoah secured his place in history as the twelfth Triple Crown winner, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Three Diamonds Farm runners did a little trophy collecting of their own after spending time at the green grass spa of Bluewater Sales.

Curalina, who was making her first start in stakes company, came home a neck in front in the $750,000 Acorn Stakes-G1 on the Belmont Stakes Day under card. Owned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and by Curlin, the filly has won three of four starts, with her only loss coming in her lone two-year-old start. She was bred by CASA Farms and has earned $486,800 to date.

Also making waves at Belmont last week were a trio of runners from Three Diamonds Farm. Comandante, Southern Gem and Roman Approval all got their pictures taken in the winner's circle, and have all enjoyed some rest and relaxation at Bluewater. Those three wins secured Belmont Stakes Racing Festival Championship honors for Three Diamonds Farm and they were presented with the August Belmont II trophy on Belmont Stakes Day.
